Completing your pre-sea training is the beginning of a structured and rewarding career path with clear opportunities for advancement.
1 Deck Rating Graduates
Begin as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) and can advance to become an Able Seaman (AB). With further sea time and examinations, the path to becoming a Deck Officer is achievable.
2 Engine Rating Graduates
Start as a Wiper or Oiler in the engine room and can progress to become a Motorman. This role is the foundation for a future career as a ship's Engineering Officer.
