This course is followed by the trade test for fitters who want to be examined and upgrade any theoretical knowledge and practical skill gaps in welding, fitting and machining as professional marine fitters. 

• Precision Machining: Turning and milling replacement parts (shafts, bushes) to micron-level tolerances.

• Coded Welding: Performing high-quality welds on marine-grade alloys in restricted positions.

• Metrology: Master use of micrometers and verniers to diagnose component wear and fatigue.
